3. Nature and limits of the service
This site is a decision aid, not an authoritative source. It reads open data published by SNCF Voyageurs and offers an interpretation of it. It does not know everything, it can be wrong, and it says explicitly when it does not know.
Information given on board by railway staff and ticket inspectors, or displayed in stations, always prevails over what this site shows. In case of discrepancy, that information is the reference.
Boarding a train that was not planned on your ticket requires the on-board staff's agreement. The options shown describe trains that are running; they do not in any way constitute a right to board them. The validity of your ticket, an exchange, a reservation or a fare adjustment are exclusively matters for the carrier operating the train concerned — SNCF Voyageurs, but also Lyria or Deutsche Bahn depending on the train.
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, completeness or continuity. The times and delays shown come from third-party feeds whose content and freshness this site does not control; the time of the feed's last update is shown at the top of every screen, and that feed is silent about part of the trains.
This site is neither published, operated, affiliated, endorsed nor sponsored by SNCF, by any of its subsidiaries, or by any of the carriers whose trains it describes.
4. Data sources
Timetables and real-time information come from open data published by SNCF Voyageurs and distributed by the French National Access Point for transport data, transport.data.gouv.fr. They are made available under the ODbL 1.0 licence together with specific terms of use.
The dataset published by SNCF Voyageurs also covers services operated by other carriers, notably Lyria (SNCF Voyageurs and SBB) and Deutsche Bahn's ICE trains serving France. Conditions of carriage, sale and after-sales are, for each train, those of the carrier operating it.

5. Outbound links
This site links to third-party services, notably sncf-connect.com (train details, ticket exchange), transport.data.gouv.fr and opendatacommons.org. Those sites are governed by their own terms of use and privacy policies, over which this site has no control and for which it accepts no responsibility.
6. Intellectual property
Timetable and real-time data are subject to the ODbL 1.0 licence, which includes a share-alike clause: any derived database made public would be released under that same licence.
The trademarks SNCF, TGV, TGV INOUI, OUIGO, Intercités, TER, Lyria and ICE, and the associated logos, belong to their respective owners and are cited only to identify the trains described.
The source code and the wording of this site remain the property of their author.
7. Personal data
This site requires no account, sets no audience-measurement cookie and uses no advertising tracker. No consent is therefore requested, and no banner is shown.
- Geographic position: if you explicitly allow it in your browser, it is used only to find nearby stations. It is sent in the body of a request — never in a web address — is stored nowhere, and is passed on to no third party.
- Recently used stations and diagnostic file: kept locally in your browser. They never leave it, unless you download and send the diagnostic file yourself.
- Server logs: like any web server, this one keeps for 14 days the IP address and the page requested of each request, for security and aggregated traffic statistics. Nothing is sold or passed on to any third party.
You can exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection) by writing to contact@quaiaquai.com, or lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
8. Liability
The publisher cannot be held liable for any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from the use of this site or from the impossibility of accessing it, in particular a missed connection, a missed train, or a travel decision based on information displayed. The travel decision belongs to the traveller, who must comply with the information given by the carrier.
9. Reporting a problem
The site includes a diagnostic recorder, reachable by adding
?debug to its address: it writes to a local file what was
displayed and what was typed. That file leaves your browser only if you
download it and send it. It is the most useful way to report a problem, to
contact@quaiaquai.com.
10. Governing law
This notice is governed by French law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or to the use of this site falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts.
